Digital Ethos, a full-service digital marketing and creative agency, is celebrating being shortlisted for Digital PR Campaign of the Year – B2B in the UK Digital PR Awards 2023.

The agency, founded in 2016 and based in Leicestershire, has grown to over 50 full-time employees based all over the world. Digital Ethos has become one of the fastest-growing and most respected marketing agencies in the UK, offering a range of digital marketing services, including PR, SEO, PPC, Social Media, and Web Development.

In November last year, Digital Ethos took an exciting step forward and joined forces with Cadastra – a global leader in digital marketing services, consulting, and technology. By leveraging Cadastra’s provision of tools, methods, and resources, Digital Ethos is able to expand its capacity and offerings, and spearhead Cadastra’s European growth.

Now, the agency is being recognised for its creative and inspiring PR activity for its client Microspring & Presswork (MSP) – a leading UK manufacturer of springs & stampings.

Recognising the challenges facing the manufacturing sector overall, the PR team worked with MSP to create and develop a comprehensive and data-driven white paper. Using this white paper, the PR team developed four important and topical digital PR campaigns, using key data insights to help inform and encourage companies in the manufacturing sector.

As a result, the team generated 22 pieces of trade coverage which featured follow links, surpassing their initial backlink targets by 54%. This resulted in a 20% increase in domain authority and aligned with both SEO and PR objectives.

Moreover, this campaign aligned with the overall intentions of driving awareness of important discussions, as well as building MSP’s authority within trade publications, as it resulted in additional press opportunities for the manufacturer.

Lauren Gray, PR & Content Executive at Digital Ethos, is beyond thrilled to see her campaign with her client be shortlisted.

She said: “Becoming shortlisted is fantastic recognition of the tremendous amount of hard work which has gone into developing this campaign, as well as a fantastic end to my first year working in Digital PR.”

“What I loved most about this campaign was that it was purpose-driven, as it aligned with our client’s own commitment to social responsibility and their desire to help the manufacturing industry progress.”

“From this activity, we were able to create and outreach relevant campaigns on gender parity, apprenticeships, sustainability, and the gender pay gap, all of which are extremely important and topical discussion points within the industry.”

“To see this work being recognised on an industry level is a truly amazing result for the work we have been doing with MSP. The PR Awards are stacked with dozens of creative and talented PR teams, so it is a real privilege to be included in this year’s shortlist alongside their campaigns, and I wish the best of luck to all of the nominees.“

For Digital Ethos, becoming shortlisted is also a great recognition of how far its PR department has progressed, giving the Digital Ethos team industry-wide recognition for their hard work and creativity.

Luke Tobin, CEO of Digital Ethos, said: “In just six years, Digital Ethos has experienced remarkable growth, becoming an acclaimed full-service digital and creative agency with a talented team of 50 marketing experts and three global offices. Now, with our exciting merger with Cadastra, we will see the team continue to grow and evolve as we develop our services and solutions, and scale our digital marketing strategies to a global level.”

“Our vision has remained on being a client-centric company with a strong focus on delivering clear communication and quality service, highlighted in our motto at Digital Ethos to Stay Extraordinary, which translates across all our work and our delivery for clients.”

“This past year we have already had the chance to celebrate wins, from becoming finalists in the UK Digital Growth Awards and the European Search Awards to becoming a certified B-Corporation and jointly hosting our flagship marketing event ‘Cadastra Live: The New Economy’ with Cadastra.”

“Becoming a finalist at the UK Digital PR awards this year is a testament to the exceptional growth and hard work of our Digital Ethos team and their unwavering commitment to achieving the best results for our clients. For our team, this award presents them with industry-wide recognition of their creativity and excellence within the Digital PR industry.”

“Our team are really looking forward to joining in with the award festivities at the ceremony this month and having the chance to talk with all the other finalists. Best of luck to everyone!”
